Last piece of puzzle

Almost 2 years ago, you gave me your first piece of puzzle. Really surprised me and made me curious. Slowly but sure, you held my heart. I fallen for you, dear kryptonite (Why kryptonite? Because you became a part of me that sometime make me powerless)

Time after time, You gave me another pieces of puzzle, consciously or unintentionally. But sometimes, I got it from people around you. For almost 2 years, finally the puzzle is complete.

Sad? Definitely yes.
Happy? Hmmm...
Relieved? Yes, sure.

Dear Kryptonite, I only wanna say thank you for everything you've done for me and to teach me that feeling again.

So whats next?

I definitely don't know the answer is. I just can't stop the feeling, but now i surely will say these "If that is your choice and you happy with that, i'll be happy for you too"

Short Replies

Do you ever feel what I feel tonite?
When you eagerly start a conversation and you just get short reply like "Ok", "Iya" etc...
Aaaaarrrggghhh...

Hmm maybe in different situation, I will think its a kind of funny thing or just ordinary thing.  Or I will replied back with this question "Heyyy... jempol kamu lagi bisulan ya?" Or "Heyyy.. lagi sakit gigi ya?"...
But tonite when my tolerance level is in the lowest level, I just need more than "Iya" or  "Ok" replies.

Ghost from the past...

It's one of those things people say...
You can't move on until you' ve let go of the past.
Letting go is the easy part.
It's the moving on that's painful.

Yup it's so true...

Hari ini saya melihat hantu dari masa lalu saya.  Hmm bukan wujud dia yg asli sih.  Hanya orang yang benar-benar mirip dengan dia.  Tapi itu saja sudah mampu membuat saya sesaat 'blank'.  Dan membuat saya sadar kalau ternyata saya belum benar-benar move on. Iya bagian melepaskan memang mudah, tapi ketika sesuatu mengingatkan saya. Damn! Sungguh masih bisa ya dia mempengaruhi saya sedasyat itu.  Ok, my heart ain't bleeding anymore but I still feel the pain. I think my heart still bruised, not 100% recovered.

Well now I think i'll just let my tears flow til its drained.  At some points, I'll have to move on (again). Aaaaarrrggghhh I just realize, one of the most difficult task right now is not how to achieve this year target, but how to remove and throw you, my ghost from the past, away from my mind.

Developing others...

Malam ini saya bertemu dengan Ami, Agung, koko Erick, Hana dan Jahe, mentee-mentee saya. Mereka adalah angkatan ke-7 dimana saya menjadi mentor.  Pertemuan malam ini memang janji saya kepada mereka sebagai acara syukuran karena mereka sudah lulus semua dan bisa diwisuda bareng-bareng.

Apasih mentee dan mentor?
Nah di lembaga manajemen tempat saya mengajar, ada mata kuliah yang judulnya adalah self-development.  Tapi jangan bayangkan ini sebagai mata kuliah seperti di sekolah kepribadian ya.  Mata kuliah ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan soft competences dari para mahasiswa.  Metode self developmentnya adalah mereka dibagi menjadi beberapa grup kecil yang disebut grup mentoring, didalamnya terdapat 6-8 orang yang akan saling membantu untuk mengembangkan self competence. Grup mentoring ini akan didampingi oleh satu orang mentor. 

Peran mentor disini susah susah gampang karena harus bisa mengarahkan, membina dan kadang-kadang menjadi teman curhat untuk para mentee-nya.  Nah chemistry menjadi penting sehingga antara mentee-mentor bisa nyaman dan saling terbuka dalam berkomunikasi.  Ini lah yang mungkin membuat saya bisa dekat dengan si angkatan 7 ini.

Tapi bukan berarti grup mentoring angkatan lain tidak memiliki tempat dihati saya. Masing-masing selalu punya tempat dihati saya karena keunikan mereka masing-masing.

Ada banyak hal yang membuat saya senang menjadi mentor.  Hal yang utama adalah menyaksikan perubahan para mentee saya menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik. Yang awalnya tidak percaya diri, akhirnya bisa tampil presentasi tanpa tergagap.  Yang awalnya public enemy bisa diterima oleh teman-temannya karena menjadi pribadi yang lebih menyenangkan. Yang awalnya introvert bisa menjadi pribadi yang lebih terbuka.  Tentu saja hal ini bukan karena saya tetapi lebih kepada kemauan dan tekad mereka untuk menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik.

Ini adalah kata pengantar yang saya selalu sampaikan di pertemuan pertama mentoring:
"Saya sangat yakin kalian semua disini pintar-pintar, tapi pintar saja tidak cukup untuk menjadi modal sukses di dunia kerja maupun usaha. Nah salah satu kunci sukses adalah karakter dan kepribadian yang baik. Mata kuliah ini ada dan keberadaan saya disini sebagai mentor hanya berfungsi sebagai fasilitator untuk membantu kalian menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik.  Sukses atau tidaknya program ini tidak tergantung pada saya tapi tergantung tekad dan kemauan kalian untuk mau berubah"
Hmm not sound like me ya =)...

Saya amat menyadari saya sebenarnya bukan role model yang baik.  Kadang-kadang saya melakukan kesalahan dan kebodohan.  Saya rasa itu tidak apa-apa diketahui oleh para mentee saya... Heyyy nobody is perfect, I'm still human... .. Yang penting adalah bagaimana kita belajar dari kesalahan dan kebodohan itu dan tidak mengulanginya.

Dear mentees, saat kalian belajar menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik, saya juga belajar hal yang sama dengan kalian.  Ada banyak pelajaran hidup yang kalian ajarkan kepada saya.  Terima kasih.

Ada bahagia, senang, dan bangga menyaksikan kalian menjadi orang-orang yang sukses.  Heyyy ingat ya definisi sukses setiap orang berbeda.  Please define your own success and be proud of that, then You'll be happy...

Dibandingkan dengan sunrise yang mengantarkan kita kesibukan harian, sunset menurut saya sangat bersahabat karena dia lah yang mengantarkan kita menuju ‘ketenangan’ malam.  Dan biasanya ini adalah waktu dimana otak saya berada pada puncak performanya.  Tulisan, editan foto, puisi dan sketsa lebih banyak saya hasilkan di waktu ‘tenang’ itu.

Sunset at SHIA

Sunset selalu menakjubkan untuk saya.  Saat mentari perlahan-lahan menyembunyikan diri di kaki langit untuk bergeser ke  belahan dunia lain dan meninggalkan semburat jingga di langit.  Momen yang sekejap waktu saja namun selalu meninggalkan kesan dan warna yang berbeda disetiap sunset.  Rasanya hanya dengan menyaksikan sunset yang singkat itu, terangkat sudah seluruh lelah dihari itu.

Sunset adalah momen dimana saya bisa menatap mentari yang biasanya garang, menghela nafas lega, dan melepas segala rasa.  Sunset adalah momen yang akhir-akhir ini selalu saya tunggu karena entah mengapa diwaktu itulah memikirkan kamu terasa menentramkan hati.

Sunset at Malalayang Beach

Suatu ketika kamu pernah menyebutkan kalau kamu lebih menyukai sunset dibandingkan sunrise karena katamu “Because it's gonna be a long long nite”.  Itu yang membuat saya semakin menyukai sunset.

Someday Kryptonite, we’ll watch sunset together at a beach somewhere.

Puzzle

Dear Blogger, I think you are certainly knows what puzzle is. The puzzle is the riddle consists of  pieces image. For me, it is amazing and fun. Just imagine you wont found some identical pieces.

The process of collecting puzzle pieces into a cluster of color, then start to arrange it into a picture also other pleasant things to me because I train to be more patience.  I enjoy every moment when I have to find, collect, arrange, and put it together to be complete picture.  Usually when I puzzling, I wont set target when I have to solve the puzzle.  I just do it and enjoy the whole processes.  Until now I have completed 4 puzzle with 10,000 pieces.

Why suddenly I write about the puzzle? Well because right now I got jet lag and I could not sleep.  Suddenly I thinking of you. You're like a puzzle to me. Currently I'm collecting pieces of the puzzle about you, whether you are give-and of the people around you. So You do not need to be burdened to share yours, just smile to me when I handed you the complete puzzle.
